Ariana Ashtari Dalband

Director of Studies

Hola! Me llamo Ariana. I was born and grew up in Barcelona and I moved to London in September 2017. I have always loved England as I spent a lot of time here growing up, since I have close family living here.

I speak 4 languages, native Spanish and Catalan and English and Iranian.

My passion is teaching. I love languages and I love teaching! After completing my degree in English Philology in Barcelona, I then went on to study a Masters in Education Teaching, Training and Language which I completed in June 2017.

For my masters I was tasked with producing a curriculum, complete with lessons plans which is something I really enjoyed. Behind the scenes I am using this experience to help Brilliant Bilinguals produce their long term focused Spanish school curriculum to hold our students in good stead now and through the future.

During the last 3 years of studying I worked privately as well  as for companies teaching English as a foreign language to children and adults in Spain. I found that experience such a rewarding one and it gave me the teaching foreign language bug!

Hello, I am Patri, native from Cádiz and have lived in England since 2017. I completed my Degree in Teaching in 2017 at the University of Castilla La-Mancha.

After graduating I worked as a teacher and also as a Summer camp instructor, both in Spain. In both roles I was very enthusiastic and involved in the planning of activities and duties. There was nothing I loved more than spending time with the children engaged in fun, engaging and educational activities.

In England I developed my experience further by teaching special needs children, where I displayed patience and understanding in working with the individual child to give the extra help and understanding required.

I love teaching and I believe my passion and enthusiasm shines through in my classes.  I look forward to teaching you and your lovely children in a Brilliant Bilinguals class soon!
